Monterrey Mexican Restaurant is a family-owned and operated Mexican restaurant that has been serving Nashville, Tennessee since 1990. The restaurant was founded by Maria Mayo, Juan Castillo, and Rodolfo Castillo.

Monterrey Mexican Restaurant is best known for its authentic Mexican food, including fajitas, tacos, gorditas, and its signature dish, tamales. The tamales are made fresh from scratch and are much thicker than those found at other restaurants.
